Communitas is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal information of all persons who come into contact with us. We value the trust of those we deal with, and of the public, and recognize that maintaining this trust requires that we be transparent and accountable in how we treat the information that you choose to share with us. Our privacy practices are designed to achieve this. This policy and related procedures are consistent with the Personal Information Protection Act and Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.

Scheduling Forms

During the course of any business transactions done through our website, such as scheduling a yard waste pickup, Communitas will be required to gather and use personal information. All visitors can be assured that this information will be carefully protected and will only be used or disclosed as required for specific, legitimate business transactions such as filling out orders or for billing purposes.

Procedure

If you have questions with respect to our policies concerning the handling of your personal information, or if you wish to request access to, or correction of, your personal information under our control, please contact our Privacy Officer at the Communitas office.  If the Privacy Officer is not available to address your concerns, the issue may be referred to the Chief Executive Officer.
